Handy location, good service, overall clean place. The staff are polite, giving their best to make the stay a really nice experience. The restaurant is excellent, serves excellent dishes. The property met requirements, we would stay here again.

Charming, Charming, Charming.
The ambiance here is good with a sun terrace that brings you the warmth of the sun! Every meal I had was bursting with fresh flavors, especially the very nice haggis chicken that won my heart. Plus, the staff created an experience that felt mad really like the warmest hug!

The location and "newness" of the premises. The bar and breakfast room were quite classy. My husband had a stomach upset during our stay and the staff were extremely helpful.
The rooms were extremely stuffy and the smell from the kitchen permeates all corners of the hotel.

The service was excellent! The restaurant had delicious food, and I truly enjoyed the warm welcome we received. The only downside was the noisy room we initially booked, but they kindly moved us. 😊

The recent upgrade to the hotel is fantastic. Food lovely. Rooms spotless.
No water pressure for a shower or bath, so disappointed as was looking forward to a nice relaxing jacuzzi. Advised staff of this problem to which they were very helpfull, they had problem with plumbing system.

Carlton is an excellent hotel. Close to shops, airports,cities etc. We have stayed here several times for different occassions, which really says it all. Hotel is spotlessly clean and modern, food is fantastic, staff are most friendly and helpfull. Will return again.

The hotel surprised us with a complimentary drink and a special birthday dessert for my wife, making our stay extra special. The room was large and well-decorated, and the staff were genuinely friendly.

Lovely staff but food could improve
The room was comfortable and clean. The wedding meal left much to be desired, with the chicken being quite dry, disappointing given the occasion.

Clean and welcoming with a good quality restaurant which was ideal for us the night before an early flight from Prestwick airport. The staff laid on an early, substantial and welcoming continental breakfast for us. We had a triple room and, for once, there were enough towels for three of us withut having to ask! We would stay here again.
We found someone else's clothes in one of the drawers in the room! As it was a triple room 3 cups on the tea/coffee making tray would have been helpful.
